A good buddy of mine recently dropped this tip to me to check out the Black Cab Sessions website, which for any contemporary music lover is a real “friggin” gem I tell you. I highly suggest keeping an eye on things there by bookmarking and also present in video format my favorite three sessions:

1. Just barely out of my 2008 top list Bon Iver, love the cabby at the start!

2. Of course have to have the Foxes in there

3. Another favorite from 2008 I thought I would plug here with this opportunity: The Raveonettes

As previously posted I’m a fan of the Fleet Foxes work this year, no surprise there, thought I would share this remixed version of Mykonos I found kicking around the internet, off their first CD Sun Giant. The track shows their potentiality to have a “rockier” sound, not that I would wish for them to take that route, but a few tracks like this one now and again to make my mouth water would be much appreciated. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I do sense quite a hint of the “good” Stones, the early years, in this one. Enjoy!
